Our tip for art lovers
Art and culture are to be found on almost every corner in Basel. It is not for nothing that it is considered the Cultural Capital of Switzerland. The inspiring city on the Rhine is home to around 40 museums. Above all, the Fondation Beyeler with its exciting art exhibitions. Until 28.03.2021, the Fondation is presenting a selection of legendary paintings and sculptures under the title "The Lion is Hungry". At the centre is the painting "the hungry lion throws himself on the antelope", by Henri Rousseau. Other well-known masterpieces of classical modern and contemporary art ensure that the hunger for art is satisfied this year as well.

Our winter sports tip
The Lenzerheide region is a paradise for snow and skiing fans. Why not try something new? How about cross-country skiing? One of the best cross-country skiing areas in Switzerland is located here. Since the winter of 2017/18 there is a winter sports centre in Parpan, which also has a cross-country skiing centre with a cross-country skiing shop and rental service. No matter whether you would like to try this active sport or whether you are already a professional, the winter magic on Lenzerheide will inspire you either way.

Our tip
The city of Lucerne itself has a lot to offer its visitors. But also city escapees and winter fans get their money's worth around Lucerne. Just a few minutes outside the city gates, Mount Pilatus in its white winter robe entices visitors with pistes, toboggan runs and snowshoe hiking trails.
A great experience for cheese lovers is a fondue chat, which is served by prior reservation from Monday to Thursday in the Bellevue Restaurant and from Friday to Sunday in the Pilatus-Kulm Restaurant.
